The MW500-1444 VCO covers 4.2 to 6.4 GHz provides +5 dBm + 2 dB from 4200 to 6400 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0 to 20V, in a low-cost 0.5" sq. x 0.13" SM package. Supply is +12V @ 31 mA standard, but custom versions can be provided with supply voltages down to + 5V. Phase noise @ 100 kHz is -101 dBc/Hz and harmonics are -15 dBc max. The VCO is capable of very high modulation speed, modulation bandwidth (-3 dB) is 115 MHz.
