MICRONETICS INTRODUCES INSTRUMENT TO REPLACE OBSOLETE HP 3708A.
Hudson, NH -- October 31, 2001 -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq/NOIZ) announced introduction of Option 3708 for its CNG70/140 noise generator to make this product a form, fit and function replacement for the obsolete Hewlett Packard HP3708A.

Charles Freihofer, Director of Sales for Micronetics' Test Solutions Group, stated "In response to customer demand for an instrument to replace the obsolete HP3708A, Micronetics has developed the CNG70/140 with Option 3708. We developed this since there is a large installed customer base of HP3708's which are often used for Bit Error Rate (BER) testing of satellite modems and wireless communication systems. The new CNG70/140 with Option 3708 from Micronetics allows these customers to upgrade or replace their current equipment, without changing their existing test suite. Initial customer response for this new product has been positive. Several customers have purchased these instruments and installed them in existing test stands on their manufacturing lines with excellent results. Development of this option is a direct outgrowth of our philosophy of listening to our customers and being as responsive to them as possible." You can arrange for a demonstration of Option 3708 by visiting Micronetics at the CDMA-Americas Show in the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA, from October 31 to November 2, 2001 or contacting CFreihofer@Micronetics.com.
