Micronetics Expands Components Group to Increase Product Offerings
HUDSON, NH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- October 13, 1999--Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today that it has added two new members to its growing Micronetics/Components Group.

Max Pellegrini joins the group as a Senior Design Engineer, bringing more than 10 years of microwave engineering experience from companies such as ATN Microwave, Inc., Hill Engineering, and Enon Microwave Corp.

Gary DeGon joins Micronetics as Director of Domestic Sales for Micronetics/Components. DeGon brings more than 30 years of microwave experience in engineering and sales from companies such as ATN Microwave, Inc., L3, Anzac, SDI, Micro-dynamics, and Microwave Associates.

Dave Robbins, Senior Vice President, stated "With the growth of Micronetics/Components over the last year, both internally and externally, I am especially excited to bring Pellegrini and DeGon on board. In light of our three recent acquisitions, this was a very efficient way to implement our growth strategy of increasing product offerings to better accommodate the needs of our customers for integrated subassemblies."

"The former company Pellegrini and DeGon worked for has gone out of the microwave component business. I believe Micronetics/Components, with Pellegrini and DeGon on-board, is well-positioned to increase its market share in the sale of microwave components and sub-assemblies to this segment of the market. Based on efforts of DeGon and Pellegrini to date, I am pleased to state we are already seeing positive results from this initiative."

Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics Wireless designs, manufactures and markets broadband test equipment and components used in the design, testing and manufacturing of cellular, PCS, wireless local loop, home networking and satellite equipment through its Micronetics/Equipment Group, and manufactures microwave components and subassemblies primarily used in radar, electronic counter-intelligence, wireless communications and electronic simulation applications through its Micronetics/Components Group. Micronetics acquired Microwave & Video Systems, Inc. of Danbury, CT, Vectronics Microwave Corporation of Middlesex, NJ and the voltage controlled oscillator product line of Delcom, Inc. of Salem, NH, earlier this year.

Statements in this press release contain forward-looking material. Actual results may vary due to a number of risks and uncertainties and should be viewed in conjunction with Micronetics Annual Report for its fiscal year ended March 31, 1999.
