MICRONETICS WIRELESS INTRODUCES SMALL-SIZE VCO COMPONENTS FOR USE IN PCS AND WIRELESS LOCAL LOOP SYSTEMS
Hudson, NH -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc., (NASDAQ:NOIZ) announced today that it has introduced a new generation of M3500 Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs) that are approximately one-half the size of the original product.

The new VCOs are slightly under 1/2" square, which makes them ideal for use in PCS and Wireless Local Loop Systems where the technology continues to evolve toward smaller, lower power systems.

"Our goal was to reduce the size without sacrificing performance, which is typically what happens when you try to put the same product into a smaller package," says Dave Robbins, Chief Technical Officer. "We followed the same design philosophy as with the original M3500 VCOs, keeping the performance and high quality. So, like their predecessors, these new VCOs are versatile enough to perform predictably and consistently in all types of environments."

There are 13 different models available in the M3500 VCO product family and all will be available in the new, smaller size. Micronetics Wireless originally licensed the right to manufacture and distribute the M3500 VCO product line from QUALCOMM, Inc., in 1994.

Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics Wireless designs and manufactures specialized components and test equipment to help OEMs and service providers deliver high quality, reliable communication systems and services. The company also designs and manufactures low phase noise VCOs under the "MicroSource" name and has received a U.S. patent covering the high volume manufacturing methodology for low phase noise VCOs.
