Micronetics To Supply Test Instruments to Network Provider of Broadband Video Systems
Chicago, IL -- (BUSINESSWIRE) -- September 27, 2000 -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today at the PCIA Global X-Change at Chicago's McCormick Place, that it received an initial order for its CNG-CATV Cable Modem Tester from a major network infrastructure provider. The Cable Modem Tester will be used to test intermediate frequencies of an LMDS broadband distribution system.

Ralph Marrone, Vice President of Micronetics/Equipment, stated The Cable Modem Tester simulates cable network impairments by injecting a broadband test signal onto the data stream allowing evaluation of the transmission performance of cable modems and the supporting cable infrastructure in a real world environment. Additional releases for this program are scheduled over the next year and a half. This is another example of Micronetics' success in penetrating established customers in this space. As our products receive more acceptance, we anticipate announcing other significant orders."

Micronetics is demonstrating its CNG Cable Modem Testing Platform of products at its Booth No. 4555 at the PCIA Global X-Change.
