Micronetics/Equipment Receives Order for Point-to-Point Radio Testing Equipment
Chicago, IL -- (BUSINESSWIRE) -- September 27, 2000 -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today at the PCIA Global X-Change in Chicago's McCormick Place, that it received the first phase of a contract to produce network infrastructure test equipment for a major manufacturer of microwave radio systems. The balance of this program is expected to be released over the next year and a half. Micronetics will supply Carrier-to-Noise test instruments to this manufacturer of one of the world's most widely deployed microwave radio systems.

Ralph Marrone, Vice President of Micronetics/Equipment, stated Micronetics' CNG 70/140 Noise Generator will be used to test for BER (bit error rate) performance over digital point-to-point microwave links. The selection of this instrument for this application is a further endorsement of this product's performance and features. With the growth in network infrastructure equipment requirements, we are receiving significantly increased inquiries for this type of equipment. These inquiries are also generating opportunities to partner with certain of these customers to develop new equipment to conduct these and similar tests."
