Micronetics Delivers First Microwave Integrated Assemblies
Hudson, NH -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- July 10, 2000 -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today its Micronetics/Components Group has begun delivery of microwave integrated assemblies for the European Fighter Aircraft. Deliveries are ahead of schedule and Daimler Chrysler has requested expedited production. In addition, Micronetics/Components shipped its first integrated assembly down-converter, which is being incorporated into an advanced ground-based radar system. More shipments of both of these assemblies are expected later this year.

Dave Robbins, Senior Vice President, stated AOur goal 12 months ago was to grow the Micronetics/Components Group through external acquisition and by focusing on strategic customers who had larger, more complex requirements. It is very satisfying to have leveraged the technologies available through Microwave & Video Systems, Inc. and Vectronics Corp., companies we acquired last year, to win orders of a size and complexity that were very difficult to win just a year ago. Delivery of the first of several of these complex microwave integrated assemblies during Q1 is further validation of our strategy and progress. We expect to increase production deliveries of these complex microwave integrated assemblies during the balance of the fiscal year.@
