FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MICRONETICS RECEIVES ORDERS FOR SWITCH FILTER BANKS AND RECEIVERS
Floyd Parin, President of MVS, stated "This multi-year contract for switch filter banks is an important order because it confirms our role as a leading supplier to the fast growing radio simulator marketplace. Our switch filter bank enabled our customer to operate its system at higher power levels than our competition, with extremely limited interference."
David Robbins, Senior Vice President of Micronetics Components and Subassemblies Group, stated "The receipt of the receiver order was another example of an integrated subassembly order, that was beyond our expertise a little over a year ago. Our ability to draw on the expertise of MVS was critical to achieving the required performance. This design is a derivation of another integrated subassembly that is included in our new line of broadband microwave integrated assemblies. This order supports our effort to develop a wide-band platform to enable, with little modification, the use of similar designs across several products."
David Robbins continued, "Our recent acquisition of Enon Microwave, Inc. increases our ability to take on projects requiring the assembly of several components in one package. This is where we see increased opportunities and intend to take steps to increase our activities. Enon's high power capability is another avenue for us to develop these integrated subassembly opportunities."
Micronetics is displaying its products at the MTT-s Show in Seattle, WA and can be visited there June 4-6, 2002 at Booth No. 1346.
