Micronetics Introduces Two New Lines of Microwave Products
Seattle, WA -- (BUSINESSWIRE) -- June 4, 2002 -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced introduction of a new line of Microwave Integrated Subassemblies that deliver enhanced system performance. These subassemblies include fine resolution attenuators and phase shifters which enable customers to compensate for system amplitude and phase distortion. The highest volume phaseshifter/attenuator subassembly in this line provides superior performance and lower cost over a vector modulator solution.

Micronetics also announced introduction of a new line of high power SP3T and SP4T switches operating at 20MHz to 3GHz that have been rated at 1200 watts CW and are available in six frequency bands. These switches are designed for, among other applications, use in electronic countermeasures or similar defense electronics applications where transmit/receive or antenna selection functions are required. The switches are based on PIN diode technology and offer the reliability of solid state switching.

Don Kilduff, Vice President and General Manager of Micronetics wholly-owned subsidiary, Enon Microwave, Inc., stated "This new line represents products we have developed for the high power microwave switch marketplace. It is a natural continuation of product leadership Enon Microwave has maintained in this market. Our over 15 years experience manufacturing high power microwave switches makes us one of the leaders in this market segment."

David Robbins, Senior Vice President of Micronetics Components and Subassemblies Group, stated, "The establishment of this line of Microwave Integrated Assemblies is the next step in our effort to expand the capabilities of Micronetics. Our strategy to develop in-house capabilities and to add capabilities where necessary through the acquisition of Enon Microwave, Inc., Microwave & Video Systems, Inc. and Vectronics Microwave Corp. over the last few years, was designed to enable Micronetics to deliver more complete solutions to our customers. This line of Microwave Integrated Subassemblies is based on our broadband designs; it enables us to slightly modify these subassemblies to meet the specific bandwidth requirements of a customer. The high power capabilities added by our recent acquisition of Enon Microwave, Inc., creates another avenue for us to market integrated subassemblies."
