MICRONETICS WIRELESS EXPANDS TEST EQUIPMENT PRODUCT LINE; INTRODUCES SMALLER, STANDARD-SIZE NOISE GENERATOR TO SPEED WIRELESS COMPLIANCE TESTING
Atlanta, GA - Micronetics Wireless, Inc., (NASDAQ:NOIZ) displayed its next generation CNG-100 Carrier-to-Noise Generator for the first time at the Wireless '98 Show. The new CNG-100 is smaller, more flexible and designed to fit the standard ATE (Automatic Test Environment) set-up found on most wireless equipment manufacturing lines today.

"Our first carrier-to-noise offerings were designed primarily for testing products during the development process," says Richard Kalin, President. "But this product is ideal for production testing, which gives us the potential for higher volume sales."

The new CNG-100 is about one-half the size of its predecessor, yet it still performs the same function - to test the integrity of wireless communication signals by adding noise during the bit-error-rate test sequence. It also exceeds all IS-97 and IS-98 requirements for Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) testing.

The CNG-1000 is designed to fit neatly within pre-existing test set-up environments. It can be used to perform test routines on CDMA base stations, GSM mobile stations, satellite communication modems, and PCS and Wireless Local Loop equipment.

Micronetics Wireless is headquartered in Hudson, NH. The company engineers and manufactures specialized RF components and test equipment designed to help equipment manufacturers and service providers deliver high quality, reliable communication services.
