Micronetics Introduces VCOs For Broadband, CATV, Wireless Modems
Our MW500-1288 is a VCO designed for Broadband, CATV, and Wireless Modems. These VCOs incorporate the wideband frequency range of 900-1700 MHZ; similar to our M3500 VCO Micronetics acquired from Qualcomm. Its compact, high performance, lower cost package, enables system and sub-system designs to be smaller without compromising performance for less money. Our MW500-1109 is a wideband, low noise VCO for satellite communication, frequency synthesis, test equipment and video transmission. Our MW500-1089 is a high output 4 GHz to 6 GHz VCO for subscriber units, PCS, handsets and GSM. Our MW500-1122 is a micropower, low noise VCO for handheld scanners, modems and wireless local loop applications. Our MW700-1116 is an ultra-low noise VCO for digital data links, fiber optic data transmission, secure communication and point-to-point radios.
Stuart Bernstein, Vice President of Micronetics/VCO Products, stated: "The introduction of these new VCOs are designed to respond to specific customer needs. These designs offer extremely high performance, low phase noise at low cost. We are focusing on certain strategic market segments where we can offer our customer a high quality solution in a small package at a competitive price. These products and others in our line of VCOs can be viewed at the Wireless Symposium 2000, Booth #1116."
Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics designs, manufactures and market broadband test equipment and components used in the design, testing and manufacturing of cellular, PCS, wireless local loop, home networking and satellite communication equipment through its Micronetics/Equipment Group, and manufactures microwave components and subassemblies primarily used in test equipment, radar, electronic counter-intelligence, wireless communications and electronic simulation applications through its Micronetics/Components Group. Micronetics acquired Microwave & Video Systems, Inc. of Danbury, CT, Vectronics Microwave Corporation of Middlesex, NJ and the voltage controlled oscillator product line of Delcom, Inc. of Salem, NH, earlier this year.
Statements in this press release contain forward looking material. Actual results may vary due to a number of risks and uncertainties and should be viewed in conjunction with Micronetics' Annual Report for its fiscal year ended March 31, 1999.
