MICRONETICS WIRELESS INTRODUCES MULTI-CHANNEL NOISE GENERATORS FOR SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS TESTING
Santa Clara, CA -- Micronetics Wireless Inc., (NASDAQ:NOIZ) introduced its line of multi-channel noise generators here at the Wireless '98 Symposium today.The new instruments test the strength and viability of digital satellite communication signals by adding noise during the bit-error-rate test sequence.

The company has already shipped its first 16-channel and 8-channel models, which will be used to test the IF and baseband portions of communications systems designed as part of the ICO Satellite Communications Program -- a consortium of satellite equipment manufacturers and service providers working to create a global satellite infrastructure by the year 2000.

"Our equipment line has grown over 100% this year," says Richard Kalin, Micronetics Wireless President. "And we'll be adding new products covering various apsects of wireless impairment testing in the coming year."
