FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 8, 1996MICRONETICS WIRELESS PURCHASES FACILITY TO MEET INCREASED DEMAND FOR WIRELESS PRODUCTSHudson, NH - Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq/NOIZ) today announced the acquisition of a 31,000-square-foot facility, here in Hudson, that would enable the company to double the size of its manufacturing operations over the next two years. "We acquired this facility to accommodate the rapid growth in demand for our cellular, PCS and Wireless Local Loop products," says Richard S. Kalin, President. "Sales of our VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) product line -- alone -- have morethan doubled in the past year." The additional space will also be used to enhance the company's research, engineering and product design capabilities. "The ultimate goal of the acquisition is to provide our customers with the best level of service and responsiveness we can," Kalin says. Final purchase of the facility was completed on February 2, 1996. Micronetics Wireless designs and manufactures specialized RF components and test equipment designed to help OEMs and service providers deliver the highest quality, most reliable communications systems and services possible.
