MICRONETICS WIRELESS INTRODUCES NEW LINE OF LOW-PRICED SATELLITE MODEM TEST SETS
Washington, DC -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq/NOIZ) introduced its new line of CNG 70/140 Eb/No Generators for IF satellite modem testing here today at the Satellite '99 Show.

What makes the new line of test equipment unique is the combination of its affordability -- the base model is set to sell for under $20,000 -- and its high quality. The CNG 70/140 is very accurate and easy-to-use. It comes with many of the same features found in higher-priced test equipment models.

"Our CNG for satellite modem testing also contains an option for automated calibration procedures," says Richard Kalin, President. "We see a widespread need for this kind of automatic, general purpose test set in the satellite marketplace. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to perform this kind of testing."

The company continues to expand it test equipment product line: Last year, Micronetics introduced a dual-band CNG-100 for testing dual-mode wireless handsets; a multi-channel noise generator; a new smaller-sized CNG-100 for wireless compliance testing; and an integrated carrier-to-noise generator/multipath fading simulator.

Headquartered in Hudson, NH, Micronetics Wireless engineers and manufactures specialized RF components and test equipment designed to help equipment manufacturers and service providers deliver high quality, reliable communication services.
