>Micronetics to Supply Test Instruments to National Weather Service
HUDSON, NH -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- January 18, 2000, -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has awarded Micronetics/Equipment a contract to supply noise measurement instruments. These instruments are accurate broadband noise source references that are used to verify performance of the built-in calibration circuitry for the National Weather Service's NEXRAD weather radar stations.

Ralph Marrone, Vice President of Micronetics/Equipment, said "This is the first of what is expected to be a series of contracts over the next few years to supply these instruments to several of the National Weather Service's NEXRAD weather radar stations. It is further validation of our strategy to supply MicroCal^TM calibration and built-in calibration devices utilizing techniques developed through Gaussian noise technology developed at Micronetics. It also supports our strategy of getting positioned in programs with our customer/partners that will provide follow-on orders on a regular basis."
