Micronetics Awarded Integrated Assembly Order on European Fighter
HUDSON, NH -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- January 4, 2000 --Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today that its Micronetics/Components Group has been awarded a significant order from Daimler Chrysler Aerospace to supply microwave integrated assemblies for the European Fighter Aircraft. Multi-year deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first half of 2000.

Dave Robbins, Senior Vice President, stated "Our goal 12 months ago was to grow the Micronetics/Components Group through external acquisition and by focussing on strategic customers who had larger, more complex requirements. It is very satisfying to see how the technological advantages available through Microwave & Video Systems, Inc. and Vectronics Corp., companies we acquired earlier this year, have enabled us to win orders of a size and complexity that were very difficult to win just a year ago."

"This award enabled us to set a record for monthly bookings in December. We have been able to negotiate exclusivity with respect to this assembly and there is a good possibility of substantial follow-on orders for this program. I believe this award, along with some of the other awards we have recently announced, is a reflection that the goals we set 12 months ago are beginning to be achieved."

Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics Wireless, manufactures broadband test equipment and components used in the design, testing and manufacturing of cellular, PCS, wireless local loop, home networking and satellite equipment and the MicrocalTM line of built-in test components, through its Micronetics/Equipment Group, and manufactures microwave components and subassemblies primarily used in radar, electronic counter-intelligence, wireless communications and electronic simulation applications, through its Micronetics/Components Group.

Statements in this press release contain forward-looking material. Actual results may vary due to a number of risks and uncertainties and should be viewed in conjunction with Micronetics' Annual Report for its fiscal year ended March 31, 1999.
